WHAT IS ISTRIA?
Istria is a matte stone polished plaster with subtle tonal variation created by the ingrained surface movement. Named after the characteristic building of Venice, Istria is a natural mineral material made from aged lime putty and recycled crushed marble. The finish is hand applied with a trowel, imparting the movement of the craftsman into the organic, non-directional surface pattern.

Designed to improve the quality of living and working interiors whilst minimising the environmental impact.
Istria is a matte, stone-like polished plaster made from marble lime putty, featuring natural tonal variations and subtle surface movement. Ideal for seamless internal walls and ceilings, it can be applied in well-ventilated areas exposed to moisture (though not waterproof), over well-adhered painted surfaces, or directly onto stable substrates such as plastered masonry, skimmed boards, GRG, and primed MDF prepared for decoration.
